British Junior steps up with Lifeplus-Wahoo

Talented British Junior, Ella Jamieson will head to Lifeplus-Wahoo for the 2024 and 2025 seasons as she transitions into the senior ranks.

The 18-year-old rider who hails from Yorkshire sees her strength in the hills or against the clock.

”I feel I’m best in the hills or time-trialling but I’m curious to see what other potential I can unlock with the team. I’m excited to be joining Lifeplus-Wahoo for the upcoming year of 2024! I am looking forward to pushing my boundaries and stepping up the game as I join the Under 23 and senior pelotons.”

Jamieson caught the eye of the team with a number of solid results during her first year as a junior rider. That good form continued into 2023 where Jamieson bookended her season with some notable results. 7th place at Nations Cup Trofeo Binda and 4th overall at Nations Cup Watersley Challenge.

Team Manager welcomed Ella to the team.

”We always look to have an eye on the next British talent coming through the ranks, having had success with Flora Perkins and Alice Towers in recent years, we are as excited about working with Ella and the potential she has as a rider. We feel that she has a lot of untapped potential and we are looking forward to developing her over the coming years. The transition between the junior ranks and the World Tour is getting harder and we are keen to guide Ella with that transition in our usual relaxed but competitive and supportive environment.”
